Terms of Service

1. Service overview
Custom QR Factory (the “Service”) is a web application that lets you create, customize, and download QR codes from URLs and contact information, with optional paid plans for saving codes, uploading custom shapes, and viewing scan analytics. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. The Service is offered for users 13 years and older.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cycle through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown on the Pricing page before tax. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds, if any, are issued at our discretion.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create codes that direct users to unlawful, harmful, infringing, or malicious content, and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service. We may suspend access for violations.
5. QR code availability
We design codes to be scannable, but scannability can be affected by print quality, contrast, logos, damage, and the scanning device. We do not guarantee that any code will scan in every situation, and you are responsible for testing codes before relying on them.
6. Your content
You retain rights to the links, contact details, logos, and shapes you submit. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content as needed to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any logos or images you upload.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, and its software are owned by Custom QR Factory and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to the Service beyond your limited license to use it.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Custom QR Factory is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
We collect the account information you provide (name, email, and profile details), the QR code content and styling you create, and usage data such as scan events for analytics plans. For analytics-tier plans, when someone scans one of your tracked QR codes we also collect the scanner's IP address, browser user agent, and approximate location (country, region, and city) so we can show you scan analytics. Payment information is handled by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
2. How we use information
We use your information to provide the Service, operate paid plans, display analytics, secure the platform, and communicate with you about your account.
3. Third parties
We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe receives your payment data directly; we only receive confirmation of your subscription status. For scan analytics, we use a GeoIP lookup service (ipinfo.io) to translate a scanner's IP address into an approximate city, region, and country; the service receives the IP address needed to perform that lookup. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use browser storage and cookies to keep you signed in and remember session preferences. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.
5. Data retention
We retain your saved codes and account data while your account is active. Scan analytics data is retained for the life of the associated QR code so your reports stay accurate. You can request deletion of your data by canceling your subscription and contacting us through the Contact page.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete the personal information in your Profile, and you can cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of other data we hold about you (including scan analytics), contact us through the Contact page.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
